Proceeding contribution from David Hamilton (Labour) in the House of Commons on Friday, 3 December 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill on Daylight Saving Bill.
Daylight Saving Bill
I have come here today with an open mind, with no view on whether we should accept the proposal or not. I endorse what the hon. Lady said about daylight saving being a non-issue, certainly in my area. I have received one letter from a constituent who asked for things to remain the same. On transport, there are millions and millions more vehicles on the road now than there were in the '60s, so would the change be worse now than it was then?
