Proceeding contribution from Justine Greening (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 22 March 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill on Budget Responsibility and National Audit Bill [Lords].

Budget Responsibility and National Audit Bill [Lords]

Clause 5(1) states:"β€œβ€œThe Office has complete discretion in the performance of its duty under section 4””." Does the hon. Gentleman think that that is somehow insufficient to provide the OBR with the absolute discretion it needs to do any analysis it wants to fulfil the main duty he mentioned?
