Proceeding contribution from Lord Beamish (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 3 May 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Finance (No. 3) Bill.

Finance (No. 3) Bill

I agree, but I not am sure that it would help much. Given that subsection (c) of the amendment refers to"β€œβ€œthe total tax revenues expected from banks across all categories of taxation in each year from 2011-12 to 2016-17””," I think that that would be very difficult to do. However, I look forward to seeing all the written questions tabled by the hon. Member for Bradford East (Mr Ward). I am sure that his coalition partners in the Treasury are longing to get hold of them. May I suggest that the hon. Gentleman table his questions on a Wednesday on a named-day basis? That usually messes up Ministers' weekend boxes.
