Proceeding contribution from Lord Beamish (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 3 May 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Finance (No. 3) Bill.
Finance (No. 3) Bill
I am grateful to my right hon. Friend for giving way, but I am sure that I could speak for a lot longer if Government Members want me to. Does my right hon. Friend agree that the Minister also needs to explain, on a regional basis, for example in the north-east, how this corporation tax cut will, in the next 12 months, grow the jobs that will be lost because of the effects of the public spending cuts that the Government have already announced?
