Proceeding contribution from Baroness Stuart of Edgbaston (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 5 March 2012. It occurred during Ministerial statement on European Council.
European Council
The Prime Minister takes great pride in having achieved a deeper and greater commitment to completing the single market and deregulation. Last Friday the hon. Member for Sevenoaks (Michael Fallon) said that some EU financial services proposals"““verge on the discriminatory, verge on protectionism””." Has the Prime Minister made any progress on doing something about that?
