European Union (Withdrawal) Act
Yes, absolutely. It is important that citizens have the right to access not just the courts but other means to ensure that environmental rights are protected. The creation of that new watchdog, which of course will be democratically accountable, will ensure
that citizens do not have to go to court, but the Government and other public bodies will be held to account for their actions in safeguarding the environment.
