Proceeding contribution from Lord Hanningfield (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 4 July 2005. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Road Safety Bill [HL].
Road Safety Bill [HL]
I thank the Minister for that reply. She says that the Government will bring forward an amending regulation by the end of this month or the end of October. I will have to trust the Government. Obviously, if they have not brought forward such a regulation by then, we will be able to return to the matter later in the Bill. I look forward to the regulation and thank the noble Baroness. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendments Nos. 54 to 56 not moved.] Clause 15 [Penalty points]:
