Proceeding contribution from Lord Bassam of Brighton (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 7 December 2005. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Terrorism Bill.

Terrorism Bill

Will the noble and learned Lord briefly give way while I put a suggestion to him? Amendments Nos. 87, 88, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94 and 95 seem to cover pretty much the same territory. If the noble and learned Lord is prepared to make one speech covering those amendments, I will make one speech in response.
