Proceeding contribution from Meg Munn (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 16 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Equality Bill (HL).
Equality Bill [Lords]
As I said, I do not regard the issues as being without solutions. However, they need to be resolved and the solutions must be workable. I gave only two examples; there are others, of course. I hope that I have been able to make it clear that the Government are unequivocally committed to tackling discrimination against transsexual people.
