Proceeding contribution from Baroness D'Souza (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 14 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill on Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Bill.
Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Bill
My Lords, I came a little late to the discussion so I apologise if what I am about to say has already been raised. I simply want to underline the point that has been made—most recently by the noble Baroness, Lady Carnegy of Lour—that the administrative review has to be independent. Otherwise, it will not have the value that it should have.
