Armed Forces Bill
I recognise the concern alluded to by the noble Earl. I will therefore ask my researchers to make sure that that is a word I can fairly use. Clause 270 allows modification of civilian sentencing provisions so that they can operate appropriately in relation to service offences. I have been through, at some length, the issues relating to these various amendments. I hope that the noble Lord will feel able to withdraw his amendment.
