Armed Forces Bill
My Lords, I support the thrust of these amendments. For myself, I would be happier if the provision started, ““A person subject to military law commits an offence if””, but I am grateful for the advice of my noble friend Lord Kingsland that it is a good amendment. Members of our Armed Forces should not have anything to do with extraordinary rendition. As the noble Baroness, Lady D’Souza, said, they should have nothing to do with it ““in any shape or form””.
