Pensions Bill
Of course I do. The Secretary of State made the position clear when he intervened on the hon. Gentleman. I believe that there is consensus in the House on the key planks of the reforms—it may even extend to the Liberal Democrats. There is consensus about restoring the earnings link, automatic enrolment and compulsory employer contributions. Indeed, there is consensus that it is right to complete Barbara Castle’s work and ensure that women are not second-class citizens in the pension system, and on eliminating the gender gap in equality.
