Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Bill
As my hon. Friend feels that an elected mayor would be most in the interests of democracy, will he tell us how that would be consistent with encouraging people, young and old, to stand as election for local councillors and to be responsible for strategic decisions, not just for spending a small pot of community money?
