Proceeding contribution from Tom Clarke (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 19 March 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Consumers, Estate Agents and Redress Bill [Lords].
Consumers, Estate Agents and Redress Bill [Lords]
The hon. Gentleman is entitled to his opinion. He has put it on record and I am sure his constituents will form their view of what he said, just as my constituents will form their view on what I have said. Given all that I have said and the fact that we have not reached agreement that the standards of complaint procedure should be written into the Bill—I think there is still the possibility of persuasion on that—I have little hope, unlike the hon. Gentleman, that that can be dealt with voluntarily.
