Proceeding contribution from Brian Binley (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 21 May 2007. It occurred during Debate on bill on Further Education and Training Bill [Lords].
Further Education and Training Bill [Lords]
I have been listening intently to the hon. Lady, from whom we have heard sound common sense, as I would expect from someone who comes from Sheffield. The responsibility of employers is part of the equation that the Bill does not cover. Does the hon. Lady agree that it is employers’ responsibility to be come much more involved and that employing organisations should play an active role in achieving that objective?
