Energy Bill

My Lords, I was asked to make two points. First, the industry is in fact extremely grateful for the amount of time and trouble taken on this matter. Secondly, the noble Lord, Lord Rowlands, asked me to tender his apologies for not being able to be here this evening; I am sure that he would have wished to join in the discussion. Once again, the Minister has said that the Government will bring back an amendment, and kindly said that he will try to produce that as soon as possible so that it can be consulted on and, if necessary, amendments tabled. On that basis, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
