Proceeding contribution from Lord Hoyle (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 26 January 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Banking Bill.
Banking Bill
It is this morning, in fact. My noble friend, as always, was trying to be very helpful. We are asking for an extension of the full range of financial services through a public bank, so it is probable that we shall return to this on Report. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 203B withdrawn.
