Proceeding contribution from Baroness Byford (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 21 April 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL].

Marine and Coastal Access Bill [HL]

Perhaps that covers compensation. Clearly, it is always a difficult situation when one accepts the interests of the majority against the minority person who might be the owner or the occupier, or might have a business on what is likely to be coastal access land. I am grateful to the Minister and I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment A357BA withdrawn.
