Proceeding contribution from Earl of Mar and Kellie (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 26 October 2005. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Road Safety Bill [HL].
Road Safety Bill [HL]
I notice from the national cycle route which goes past my house—National Cycle Route 76—that the National Cycle Network is already using kilometres, although I think that is to encourage the cyclists, who will have done more kilometres than they would have done miles.
