had given notice of his intention to move Amendment No. 130A:"After Clause 34, insert the following new clause—"    ““DESIGNATED REGISTRATION PLATE MANUFACTURERS (1)   Only manufacturers designated by the Secretary of State may produce registration plates. (2)   The number plates described in subsection (1) shall be manufactured in accordance with regulations published from time to time by the Secretary of State. (3)   The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency shall maintain an up to date register of registration plates, taking immediate account of those notified as having been stolen.”” The noble Lord said: I thank the Minister for what he said. I shall study it and take advice. [Amendment No. 130A not moved.] Clauses 35 to 37 agreed to.
