Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill

I am grateful to my hon. Friend for raising that point. Like her, I am sorry that we did not have sufficient time to debate those matters today. Tomorrow, the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, my hon. Friend the Member for Gedling (Mr. Coaker), along with the Solicitor-General and the Under-Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, my hon. Friend the Member for Stevenage (Barbara Follett), are visiting Sweden as part of a six-month review of the demand side of prostitution. I can assure my hon. Friend the Member for Slough (Fiona Mactaggart) that those Ministers are conducting the review fully and, I hope, speedily. I expect the review to conclude in no more than six months, and we hope to announce the outcome as soon as possible with a view to legislating as necessary in the next Session. I should like to pay tribute to my hon. Friend for her work on prostitution. I fully recognise that we need to tackle the demand for it, as well as continue to take action against the vile trade of human trafficking. I know that these issues are of great concern to Members.
