Proceeding contribution from John Robertson (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 22 January 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Energy Bill.

Energy Bill

I understand the point that the hon. Gentleman is trying to make. The Government's point—the whole issue about energy—is that we must have a balanced energy policy so that we do not put ourselves in one little box and end up stuck with what we have done. Should the Government not therefore be commended on what they are trying to do? The hon. Gentleman is not commending us at the moment.
