Proceeding contribution from Lord Bassam of Brighton (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 23 April 2008. It occurred during Debate on bill on Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill.
Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill
My Lords, I appreciate the noble Lord’s intervention; he asks a sensible and practical question. We have had a lot of discussion with the Courts Service. It believes that we can meet the requirements; it thinks that it is deliverable.
