Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill
My Lords, I am pleased that we all agree on the importance of these provisions. I remain disappointed that we disagree on how they should be set out in legal terms and that the Government will not go as far as I, and I am sure others, would like. I welcome the prospect of at least some clarity in the protocol. I regret that it will not be in the primary legislation itself. None the less, I will at this late hour be willing to withdraw the amendment. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 129 [Designation]:
