Proceeding contribution from Lord Northbrook (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 13 January 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Banking Bill.

Banking Bill

I support the amendment proposed by my noble friend Lady Noakes. I point out that the impact assessment on the Bill subscribed total costs of only £2.2 million to £4.5 million to the banking reform proposals included in the Bill. That seems a very low figure.
