Banking Bill

The Minister responded on the basis that I was proposing an executive committee, but I thought that I had tried to explain that, for the purposes of today’s debate, I was producing a version of what the committee might do to replace the ragbag in new subsection (2). The Minister stressed the role of the court in overseeing the work of the Financial Stability Committee. Can he explain how the court can effectively oversee the work of the committee when a majority of the court’s members are on that committee?
