Postal Services Bill [HL]

Clause 28: Duty to secure provision of universal postal service Amendment 80 80: Clause 28, page 14, line 17, at end insert— "( ) In carrying out its functions in relation to postal services, OFCOM shall have regard to the interests of— (a) individuals who are disabled or chronically sick; (b) individuals of pensionable age; (c) individuals with low incomes; (d) individuals residing in rural areas; (e) small and medium size enterprises; but that is not to be taken as implying that regard may not be had to the interests of other descriptions of users."
