Equality Bill

I suggest to the noble Lord that that is not a reason for accepting the amendment. The point I was making was that not including these amendments would not send a negative message to employers. The message that the Bill sends to employers is that we are determined that they should follow the best possible equalities practice. There is no reason to accept amendments for which we do not feel there is an evidence base.
