Proceeding contribution from Bob Russell (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Monday, 10 January 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill on Armed Forces Bill.
Armed Forces Bill
I thank the Secretary of State for his recent visit to 16th Air Assault Brigade in Helmand province and for his generous words there and on his return. The Secretary of State will know that I put a question to the Prime Minister only a few weeks ago about whether it was fair for war widows to pay tax on their war widows' pensions. Will that requirement be removed as part of the covenant?
