Proceeding contribution from Nick Raynsford (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 19 July 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Crossrail Bill.

Crossrail Bill

I am grateful to the hon. Gentleman for giving way. I put it to him, however, that before he starts throwing stones at the Government over Crossrail, he might like to ponder his own party’s record on the issue, and the uncertainty that was created in the 1990s when the Bill did not proceed because of administrative confusion and a lack of leadership from the party of which he is a member.
