Education and Skills Bill

I make no apologies for bringing the matter back again, because it is a most important issue. I thank my noble friend Lord Elton and will consider his comments. I agree with the noble Baroness, Lady Walmsley, that many children with special needs are very well served in mainstream education, but all children and parents should have as much choice as possible. The noble Baroness, Lady Howe of Idlicote, said that we do not have the right answer yet, and I agree. I take on board what the Minister said and thank him for his response, which I will read carefully. For now, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clauses 130 to 132 agreed to. Clause 133 [Powers of National Assembly for Wales]: On Question, Whether Clause 133 shall stand part of the Bill.
