Proceeding contribution from Baroness Butler-Sloss (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 25 March 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL].
Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL]
My Lords, Clause 22(6) states: ""A person may be transferred—""(a) between UK Border Agency detention and Revenue and Customs detention"." Whether the period is six or three hours, will that be the total number of hours or will each of those detentions incur a new period of detention? Have I made myself clear?
