Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL]

My Lords, we have probably gone as far as we can on this issue this evening. I am grateful to the noble Lord for saying that the discretion would be exercised sympathetically. My problem is that people’s interpretation of "sympathetically" can vary enormously. The noble Lord is nodding as I say that. I think that we have gone as far as we can for the time being and I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 26 withdrawn.
