Planning Bill

I shall be brief. When I introduced this group of amendments I said that I hoped it would provoke discussion, and I believe it has. We have had a good debate and generally there has been support from all sides of the Committee, and certainly Members want to know more about how the consultation will work and how the publicity surrounding it will be handled. The Minister has given a very full response, but I have to say that I found it to be rather like a curate’s egg, good in parts but with other bits that were not so good. It was so full that the best thing at this point is to read it and see where we go from there. At this stage, however, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
