Schedule 1: Review of exclusions from schools in England: consequential amendments, agreed to as amended. Clause 5: Repeal of requirement to give notice of detention to parent: England, agreed to. Clause 6: Repeal of duty to enter into behaviour and attendance partnership, agreed to. Clause 7: Abolition of the General Teaching Council for England, agreed to. Clause 8: Functions of the Secretary of State in relation to teachers, agreed to as amended. Grand Committee held in the Moses Room.
