Civil Aviation Bill
Does the Minister accept that with an airport with a considerable runway, a considerable number of people will lose their homes? Being involved in local government, I agree that there are plenty of road schemes and railway schemes, but, generally, not many people lose their homes. They are often near a road and experience some nuisance factor, but they do not lose their home and have to move. With an airport, a lot of people have to move to live somewhere else and lose their home. Other people experience a nuisance factor, but they do not lose their home.
