Civil Aviation Bill
I thank the Minister for that reply. As I said in my introduction, we expect major announcements from BAA tomorrow which will obviously have a considerable influence on the way we go forward. Certainly there is some resentment in the airlines. The ones using Heathrow feel that they might be subsidising the expansion at Stansted when they do not want to use that airport anyway. But that is a debate for another day. I shall reflect on what the Minister has said and see what comes out of BAA’s announcements tomorrow. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
