Civil Aviation Bill
I am trying to avoid a war of attrition. But many involved in airport operations know that they can do more to control ground emissions within the perimeter of the airport. We need to drive that up because the public expect it, many airlines want it, the trade unions want it—they never cease to tell me about it, quite rightly—and I think that we can deliver it. There are good and bad local authorities in that regard; some are very good and some not so good.
