Proceeding contribution from Lord Davies of Oldham (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 5 December 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Civil Aviation Bill.

Civil Aviation Bill

I am grateful for that remark. It is important that we end this part of the discussion on as positive a note as possible. The only reply I vouchsafe to my noble friend Lord Soley, to whom I hoped I had given as good a reply as I could manage, is to say that he is right that our Committee rules are very generous. However, woe betide the noble Lord if he misbehaves on Report.
