I thank the Minister for that reply. We are certainly not going to get into a debate about the future of local authorities—if we are going to debate that, we will leave that for other places. I did not want to give local authorities a veto; I wanted them to be more involved. From the first debate, I thought that other noble Lords wanted that as well. Local authorities are the elected representatives of the people around airports, and consultative committees can represent voluntary groups and other people. We will have to revisit at other stages in the Bill how local people can be involved. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
