Proceeding contribution from Lord Hanningfield (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 5 December 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Civil Aviation Bill.

Civil Aviation Bill

My grouped Amendment No. 44B will be discussed on Thursday. Therefore, we shall have the chance to read what the Minister has said today before my amendment, which is on somewhat similar lines, is discussed on Thursday. I wanted the amendments to be decoupled because I was not fully ready to discuss my amendment today. The noble Lord, Lord Clinton-Davis, can speak to my amendment on Thursday once we have digested what the Minister has said today.
