Civil Aviation Bill
I welcome what has been said, but I believe not only that the local community should be informed about what is happening, but also that its views ought to be taken into account. That may be done by a town meeting; I do not know. But my experience of town meetings has not been a happy one. So I ask my noble friend not to respond with a blank ““no”” to my suggestion of giving the local community information about these issues. That is not enough. How, therefore, is the local community to be involved?
